The stacker and the calculator are free, offered as they are, and your files are yours.
The service
Focus Stacks provides a browser-based focus-stacking tool and a depth-of-field calculator. Both run on your device. You may use them for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, without an account.
Your content
You keep every right in the frames you stack and in the result. The publisher never receives them and claims nothing over them.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are. A merged image can contain artefacts — ghosts, halos, a soft band — and the result panel exists so that you inspect it before relying on it. The publisher is not liable for a photograph that did not come out, a print made from a flawed stack, or any loss arising from use of the site, to the extent the law allows such a limitation.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to interfere with the site, to use it to distribute malware, or to scrape it beyond what its robots.txt and AI/TDM policy allow.
Changes
The tools and these terms may change; the date at the foot of this page records the last revision. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the publisher's place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
